South Texas PAMA Gala, Raising Funds for A&P Scholarships
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CAPS Aviation CEO Jennifer Gamon Donates Custom Snap-on Toolbox to South Texas PAMA, Raising Funds for A&P Scholarships
Buda, TX – September 2025 – CAPS Aviation is proud to announce that CEO Jennifer Gamon has once again turned generosity into opportunity, ensuring continued financial support for the next generation of aviation maintenance professionals.
During this year’s NBAA Maintenance Conference in Columbus, OH, Gamon purchased $1,200 in raffle tickets to benefit A&P scholarship programs. She held the winning ticket for the grand prize: a custom-painted Snap-on toolbox valued at $12,000 and featuring landmark Columbus scenes—the 2025 host city for NBAA MC.
In a generous act of giving back, Gamon immediately donated the toolbox to South Texas PAMA (Professional Aviation Maintenance Association). The toolbox was featured as a highlighted auction item at South Texas PAMA’s annual gala, where it once again raised significant scholarship funds for the next generation of aircraft maintenance professionals.
“Scholarship programs are essential to ensuring that future A&P mechanics have the resources and encouragement they need to complete their training,” said Gamon. “By supporting these programs, we’re investing not only in individuals but in the long-term strength of the aviation maintenance industry.”
Friends and CAPS team members joined Gamon at the gala, including Calibration Lab Manager Tyler Marquette and his wife, Repair Station team members David Orantes and Adolfo Melendez, and Paul Dickson of AVI Aviation Inflatables. Together, they witnessed the toolbox’s journey come full circle—raising funds not once, but twice, for the advancement of aviation careers. Gamon personally drew the winning ticket for the toolbox’s new owner, further extending the legacy of the “gift that keeps on giving.”
Through initiatives like this, CAPS Aviation continues to champion opportunities for students, young professionals, and underrepresented groups—particularly women—pursuing careers in aviation.
